‼️Available for Adoption‼️ Henry (also affectionately known as Henry the Second) came to our rescue in March. He was adopted from the local county animal shelter but surrendered to us a few short weeks because his owner traveled too much. We were happy to welcome Henry to 4 Lucky Dogs since we are confident that we can find him the perfect home! Henry is still just a puppy at 12 months old – he loves to play and is GO-GO-GO. He proudly carries his toys around, even when he goes outside to potty! If he forgets to bring his toy, he will quickly turn around and run back to get it. Did we mention this boy is housetrained?!? Henry knows his name and has great recall - he will come running when his foster mom calls or whistles for him. He tips the scale at just 11 lbs. We suspect he may be a combination of chihuahua, beagle and dachshund, but who really knows! He is a cute as a button with super soft (very short) fur and a curly-que tail. Henry is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. He does have very minor 'cherry eye' which has been evaluated by two veterinarians and determined to be cosmetic. It does not require any medication and does not bother him at all. Henry is being fostered in a multiple-dog household and has also been around cats. Overall, he seems to get along great with everyone. He would probably enjoy having another young, playful dog in his forever home, but that is not a requirement to adopt him. We think he would do okay with older respectful children. He does have an off switch and will nap while his foster mom works on the computer. She also goes to the office three days a week, and he does just fine at home when left alone. Henry is a young, healthy and happy little dog who will make a great addition to a very lucky family! He has SO MUCH love to give and wants to find his person/people. He will be the most devoted little dog for his humans.
