Meet Louie 2. 0! Thanks to new 4LD fosters Erin and Adam Rose who come to us with some great previous foster experience, we were able to intake this little guy on Saturday. This is what they have to say about Louie so far:
Louie is the absolute SWEETEST dog! At only 8 lbs, Louie packs in a whole lot of personality. He loves to sit on your lap and snuggle all day. He will follow you everywhere you go and greet you with hundreds of kisses every time you sit back down! He gets so excited to be around people that he will spin and twirl and hop.
Louie is friendly with other dogs but really prefers to spend his time with people. Louie is good with children and has definitely been spoiled previously. He prefers his wet food and is slowly adjusting to having some hard kibble added in slowly. Bottom line is he is looking for a home where he can continue to be treated like a Prince. Louie is crate trained and he is working hard on housebreaking!!
Louie 2.0 is a fairly quiet dog and has only barked one or two times when someone came through the front door. He doesn’t really play with dog toys at all but was VERY FOND of large stuffed animals. Unfortunately, he was digging real hard at them, and we hope that will all change now that he is neutered.
Louie came to us not knowing any commands or tricks, but he is smart and willing to learn and is treat motivated!! He will also need some basic leash training as well. If you feel that Louie 2.0 is the right fit for you and your family, you can apply for him at 4luckydogs.org
