Tex is a heeler, Aussie and collie mix, with a love for the outdoors and a serious case of the zoomies. He’s happiest when he’s running free, chasing birds, or playing an endless game of catch. Curious by nature, he’ll sniff every inch of a trail if you let him, taking in the world one scent at a time.

He’s friendly with people, great with kids, and generally gets along well with other dogs—as long as he doesn’t feel the need to protect the people he loves. He’s high-energy, but he knows how to relax and will sneak in naps throughout the day.

Smart and eager to please, Tex knows a few classic tricks like “sit” and “paw.” Whether he’s out exploring or curled up after a long run, he’s a loyal companion through and through.
