Grayson is finally ready for his forever home!  Extremely fearful when he came into rescue, he is now a happy little dog who wants nothing better than to be by your side.  Weighing in at only 25lbs at a year and a half, he is a perfect size companion dog.  Grayson will do best in a household with another dog that can continue to help build his confidence as he will look to that dog for cues, and he loves to run and play with other dogs.  He can still be skittish at loud noises or quick movements and will run to you for reassurance.  He will then quickly turn into a puddle and slide down your leg, and over on his back to get his belly rubbed. Grayson is very fast and agile, and with his intelligence level, could easily be turned into an agility dog.  He is working on leash training skills now, but is still very comfortable staying at home.  More socialization out in public is recommended for Grayson to build his confidence level and to overcome his fears. Because he has been abused in the past, a household with only older, considerate childen is preferred. This is a very special dog who has overcome a lot in a short amount of time.  His love, friendship and loyalty are unconditional.  Grayson is being fostered in the Tampa Bay area and his adoption fee is $200.
