Minnie Pearl is a gem not to be passed up. Minnie is approx. 7-8 yrs old and has come back to our rescue because her new parents had a baby. Minnie just can’t understand why she isn’t first anymore and can’t seem to adjust. When we first brought her into rescue, almost 2 years ago,  her owners had divorced and neither party wanted to include her in their new lives.  There must be someone out there who will put Minnie first! Minnie is calm and quiet, and as a Velcro dog will follow you from room to room to be with you, but take her outside and throw a ball with her and she is like a puppy again! Inside, bouncy balls, squeaky toys, and tug-o-war ropes will keep her busy all day long. She loves fetch, tug-o-war, and long walks.

Minnie likes the water, but is always very upset when people are in the pool. She feels she should save them and will circle the pool, and bark a warning.  She is a submissive dog with great energy and gets along with all dogs and cats, although she only wants to truly bond with her people. She is great with older considerate kids. She is such great company, Minnie would do best with someone who is home a lot to hang out with her.  Minnie has been perfectly housetrained and always goes potty outside.  She is a true lady and politely refuses to go on any furniture, try as you might to convince her.  

Minnie is spayed, heartworm negative and current on all vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting Minnie, her adoption fee is $100 and applications can be found on our website at www.4luckydogs.org.
