*COURTESY POST* Sweet Hope is needing to be re-homed due to life changes within her family. She is about 5yrs old, weighs 50lbs, and is a German Shorthaired Pointer/Black Lab/Bully mix. Hope was rescued from Pinellas County in January of 2015. When her family brought her home she had a limp, parasite worms, heartworms, and was under weight. It took about 6 months of vet visits to get her healthy again. First she went through heartworm treatments and then she had surgery to get a new knee tendon. Since the surgery she has a good 95% use of her knee with no limp. Hope is a very high energy girl that could use some training. We would like to find her an active family that will take the time to work on her training and give her the mental and physical stimulation she needs. She is housebroken and crate trained. Hope has been going to doggy daycare and is good with other dogs. She likes to play with fellow high energy dogs and will play long and hard all day! Hope currently lives with a 13yr old cat and likes to play with him. Hope's family wants to make sure she goes to a great home, so their will be a home check and rehoming fee. Hope is spayed and current on vaccinations. For more information about Hope please contact us at 4luckydogspetrescue@gmail.com. Adoption applications can be found on our website at 4luckydogs.org.
