Teddy is a sweet active little dog, approximately 18 months to 2 years old. Heis hypo-allergenic and goes to the groomer once a month for all the maintenance he needs. He is very healthy with no known medical issues.  He is very loving, cuddly and playful. Teddy loves going on walks & is good on a leash.  He follows his human around the house and prefers to hang out in their lap.  He listens when he is told no and is potty trained.  He prefers the company of adults and older children that can respect his size and limitations.  He is NOT suitable in a household with young children or grandchildren. He lived with a 4 and 6 yr old whom he loved but as time went by, he got tired of being startled out of his sleep and tired of being asked to play too much. Teddy would do best in a house without cats as well, as he gets very excited over cats and likes to chase them to play with them.  He has not been in a house with other dogs, but we will be testing him before adoption.  He is young and very social, so we anticipate that he will be good with dogs as well as people. Teddy does NOT like swimming pools.  He is stricken with fear and gets very panicky when he sees his humans swimming.  He even jumps in and tries to save them, frantically scratching them and pushing them to the edge of the pool repeatedly to save them. We do not see this changing for him, so he would do much better in a household without a pool. He is a great little dog who will provide lifetime companionship for a very lucky person or family.
