Chloe is a very special little velcro dog with an etherial-like quality. Starved for affection, she will always be at her owner's beck and call, and will need an owner who wants an inordinate amount of love and affection. At approximately 18 months old, she has unusual markings with a distinctive color pattern and is a medium-sized dog.  We believe she is probably a Whippet or Italian greyhound mix. Pulled from a Florida high-kill shelter just hours before she was to be euthanized, we found out that she had been in her outside only kennel for more than a month without a walk or playtime. 

Chloe is a busy little dog, often spinning in excited circles before your eyes. She loves to go on walks, and is learning leash manners quickly.  She loves to run in the yard and leaps and prances like a small doe, always watching her foster for the cue to come running back quickly, as she does not like to be left alone outside. She has learned what quality food and treats are and looks forward to her share eagerly. Chloe should probably be homed with another dog as a companion to maintain a good doggie balance so that she does not become overly-attached to her owner. She is house trained and crate trained and sleeps through the night comfortably in her crate.  

Chloe is great with all dogs and was being fostered with 5 others.  She is currently being fostered with a cat and is just fine with it.  Chloe can be people-selective at first, but usually any anxiety quickly goes away after a proper introduction.  Small children are not recommended as Chloe seeks so much attention for herself! Chloe is always smiling and is the happiest when with her person!
