Meet Scout! Have you always admired that cool, smart, obedient and athletic dog that someone else had...that you always wanted ...but never seemed able to find for yourself?
Well here is your chance and his name is Scout!

Scout is a 5-yr old Blackmouth Cur mix who finds himself having to leave the family that he has always known since a puppy due to divorce and subsequent severe medical issues that his mom is going through. His grandma and grandpa have agreed to foster and love him while he looks for his new family and goes through this transition.

Scout loves kids...loves car rides, loves water, and loves playing ball. He is neutered and will be up to date on shots when adopted. Scout lived with a bigger dog and is currently living with two smaller dogs, all with no issues. Scout may bark once or twice when he first meets you, but once he knows you, you are always welcome.

To tell the truth, Scout is a real ladies man, but he will  ❤️  love the Poppas too if given just a little bit of time to warm up. He has not been socialized outside of the home too much yet and some loud noises like blenders and brake hisses on big trucks can scare him.  Scout is currently enrolled in a basic obedience class that can be transferred over to the new owner if local.

Scout needs an active person, couple or family with room for him to get plenty of exercise and stimulation. He would be an excellent running or hiking partner or agility or dock-diving dog....He is eager to please and just a wonderful dog!
