Lily and her siblings did not have an easy start to life. They were born in a rural area of North Florida. The owner passed away and they were abandoned by family. Thankfully, the mailman alerted a local rescue group to come save the day.  Mom is a full blooded bluetick coonhound and daddy is said to be a labrador that is owned by the neighbor next door to where they were abandoned. Mom is staying with a vet tech to learn how to live in a home. She lived her life chained outside, with a trash can as shelter :-(  The family that was caring for Lily and her siblings, Frankie and Sam, knew that a better life was getting them away from the rural town they were currently in. They reached out to 4 Lucky dogs and these babies are now on their way to a better life. Lily and her siblings are shy at first, but warm up quickly. Lily loves her ball, toys and her foster fur brother. They have all been around kids 5-12yrs old. They are said to be great with kids and other dogs. Lily and her siblings will make their adoption debut on Sat. Dec. 16th  3-5p.m.@ Walts Fish Market Restaurant 4141 S Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. They will be available after they receive their vetting.
