Found as a stray and turned into a high kill shelter, Monica was timid and afraid when she came into rescue.  She is now blossoming into a beautiful girl with her soulful eyes that urge you to confide in her, and the lick on the back of your leg as she walks by to remind you that she is there for you. She will always be a submissive, shy girl, but she loves people and other dogs! Monica will do best with another dog who will help her boost and maintain her confidence, and with a family that has someone home for most of the day. Monica is happiest around her people and is housebroken. She is also crate-trained and loves her crate!  A $300 adoption fee will apply to adopt Monica, which covers her spay, microchip, rabies, and all vaccinations.
