4 Lucky Dogs is not a shelter or facility where dogs can be viewed, all of our rescue dogs are in loving foster homes  throughout the Tampa Bay area and appointments must be made to see them.  If interested in finding out more on one of our dogs, please fill out an application at www.4luckydogs.org to be considered for a potential meet and greet. 

Sookie is a bright and intelligent 3 yr old, 20-lb Huskimo who will light up your life. Kind and affectionate, she is housebroken, but like the diva she is, she needs a strong leader and needs to be the only pet in the household. Sookie wants nothing more than to follow you from room to room, play, or curl up next to you on the sofa. She does get a little anxious if left alone too long. Sookie does seem to play ok with dogs around her own size or smaller, but she does get a little intimidated around larger dogs. No children please. Sookie has had a few seizures in her young life due to an undetermined cause, but physical exertion seems to bring it on. Two full bloodwork panels have come back normal, and it is recommended that she just be monitored at this time, and not be started on any meds. If seizures increase as she gets older, she may need to be put on a monthly medicine to counteract. This little girl just loves life every day and is going to make a wonderful addition to a family! Sookie’s adoption fee is $300, and she comes microchipped, up to date on all shots and spayed.
