This ethereal little 3-yr old, 35-lb wonder girl was abandoned in a Tampa, FL trailer park. She was then taken in for a short time by another family in the park and lived with 2 human babies, 2 cats and a large dog, but was ultimately surrendered to our rescue for financial reasons as the dog was covered in fleas, full of hookworms, not spayed, and with hair loss. She is now fully healthy, flea and worm-free, and spayed. Her hair loss was addressed and all of her hair has grown back, and she has gained weight and looks so healthy. Juju will dance and entertain you with the joy and happiness she has at being loved. Juju loves everyone...dogs, cats, children, and all people after slow introductions and she feels comfortable. She is fully housebroken and crate-trained and loves to "nest" with blankets in her bed/crate. She definitely displays strong heeler characteristics in her play with other dogs, constantly coming from behind and play-nipping the back legs of other dogs. Therefore she must be placed with a tolerant, submissive dog who wants to play. She is a gentle and loving soul and is learning to play with toys for the very first time. Juju speaks to her person in snorts and heavy breaths. She eats like Piglet, looks like a mini Eeyore, and is carefree and happy as Winnie the Pooh. She snores all night and loves all day. The ideal home for Juju would have another dog that loves to play with her and a fenced back yard where she can "make her herding rounds". This little dog will change your life and make you believe in "love ever after"....therefore she can only be adopted out to the most special dog-lover home out there.
