Coco is a 4 year old shih tzu terrier mix who weighs 28 pounds. She is an absolute love, very gentle, super sweet, and is a wonderful companion. A
n elderly person had Coco as a puppy and gave her up when she became so ill she could no longer care for her. Although Coco was totally potty trained to go outside in a back yard, she apparently was always brought right back in, so she is not very well leash trained to go on walks nor does she seem accustomed to spending any time enjoying the outdoors, and she will
need more
work in both of these areas.
She is totally trustworthy to be left alone in the house, She has never had a "potty: accident and she leaves everything in its place.
Coco has never been around children of any age, so we would recommend a home with no children or at least children 12 or older. Although she has gotten along well for long periods of time with her neighbor's Pomeranian, we think she would thrive as an only dog primarily due to her submissive behavior and her seeming desire to be the center of attention. Ideally, we believe Coco would love belonging to a single person or a couple who is home most of the time.
