Nina is a 7-8 year old poodle/shitzu mix who weighs about 7lbs. She was rescued from a puppy mill, along with about 350 other dogs. Spending most of her life in a cage with lots of other dogs has left her with some challenges she is working to overcome. Nina is undergoing dental surgery on 21 May where most of her teeth will be removed due to both breakage and poor diet. You can view more of her story here:

She will be available for adoption approximately a week after her dental surgery. Nina needs someone who can be home with her most of the time, in order to make her feel secure and safe. She is mostly potty trained, but ALWAYS has accidents when she is left alone as gets scared, so we are looking for a VERY patient owner who is able to gain her trust and surround her in love and who has the capability to physically be with her most of the time. She will do better being the only dog in the household as she gets anxiety around other dogs. Nina has the sweetest temperament. She doesn’t bite, chew, and she barely barks. She loves spending time outside on walks and being close to her person. She is a great travel companion and is ready to go anywhere and will hangout with you wherever you bring her.  She truly has the sweetest soul and just wants a home and available person to call her own forever. 

Nina's adoption fee is $300 and she comes microchipped, spayed and up to date on all of her shots and vaccines. You can apply for Nina at www.4luckydogs.org.
