Toby is a sweet dog.  He  loves to please people and  loves to  be showered  with attention.  

Toby is a fantastic leash walker and heeds well to commands sit, stay, off and uh-uh.

At the dog park, Toby enjoys interacting with other dogs, playing, chasing and running.  Toby is also happy exploring on his own.

Most days, Toby enjoys just being by people.  He bonds and trusts easily.  

Toby is treat and food driven !  If he has a bone, he does not want anyone near him, and will giv e you a growl to let you know.

Alone, with no other dogs around, Toby is quiet.  He minds well, and prefers to be around people, rather than alone.  If he  is left alone, he is a good dog.  He does not chew on things or destroy items, nor has he marked in the house.

Toby  is well behaved  without other dogs in the house and functions best as the only dog.  He currently tolerates the cat in the house, pretty much ignoring her or heading in the other direction if she  is brought over  to him.

 He is house trained, but the few times he has been stuck inside for a long time, he has left his deposit in the  walk in  shower, allowing for  easy clean  up.

Toby enjoys laying in the sun during the day, getting belly rubs and snuggling at night.  He is a bit of a bed hog and has a slight snore.  He dreams a lot, and in his  dreams  he is barking.  It comes out more as a light woof  woof  while he is sleeping.

Toby also has a thin coat of short hair.  He chills easily in the winter when we get our cold fronts. He  loves  to wear a sweater outside to stay warm.
