Moana has a story to tell with her spirit and constant smile. It all began when her savior found her and her 6 siblings abandoned at the scene of a fire. The family took her and the siblings in, adopting all but Moana. Their young daughter was bonded with her and Moana to her. Unfortunately, the family could not keep her any longer. The love and care that she received prior to coming into our rescue shines through in her ability to smile and adapt to change. It was scary at first, but she has found herself having fun with her fosters 3 dogs and the humans let her be a lap dog and bed hog. Moana wants to please so her recall is amazing. She sits and shakes on command, takes treats gently and responds quickly to a redirection. In the short time we have had her, we have discovered she loves being outdoors, walks and chasing the tennis ball. She will even bring it back! Moana is curious about the resident cat and doesn't understand why the silly feline doesn't respond to her play bows. She has much to learn about the felines fickle ways. She would do well in a home with a child 8 or older or respectful younger children.  She is cautious, but friendly when first meeting new people.
