4 Lucky Dogs is not a shelter or facility where dogs can be viewed, as all of our rescue dogs are in loving foster homes in west central Florida. As a general rule, we do not adopt outside of the state of FL at this time. Donald dances to the beat of his own drum and is a different little guy. He  needs a very patient and confident owner or foster that understands he has different type of personality. Donald is 5 years old, weighs 15 lbs, and needs a home with no children or other animals. He is very reactive to cats and although he is doing good with his foster dog siblings we feel he would thrive as an only pet because he is dog selective and can be very reactive towards other dogs. He will do best in a home with someone that can give him time to settle in. Donald’s favorite place to be is in his foster mom's lap getting lots of love. Donald also has a wandering eye and can appear cross eyed at times. We think this plays a role as to why he lacks confidence in new surroundings. He also needs an experienced owner that can work with him on his leash training. He is doing well but does pull when he gets excited. We feel over time with that he will get better once this is corrected.He is wonderful in his crate and seems very secure there. We think he would thrive in a foster-to-adopt situation.  Donald's adoption fee will be $350.00 and he comes microchipped, neutered and up to date on shots and vaccines.
