4 Lucky Dogs Pet Rescue is a foster-based rescue and does not have a shelter or facility where dogs can be viewed. As a general rule we do not adopt or foster outside of the state of Florida other than special circumstances. 
Porter is an 12-18 month old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler that was originally found as a stray about 6 months ago.

Porter  is a sweet boy who is full of energy and is always ready for adventure. He is still a puppy and will need someone to help him grow into his manners, which he is learning quickly. He is very intelligent and has a high work drive which will require someone who is willing to help exercise him both physically and mentally. He knows basic commands and loves to learn new skills because it means he gets to eat more treats. He has good leash manners and loves to Go on multi-mile runs with his foster mom. He is friendly with both people and dogs but needs slow introductions as he can be a bit timid in new situations. He is not cat tested but seems disinterested in them when on walks. He loves car rides, hanging out at the brewery, and is always down for a hike or walk. He is also crate trained and is comfortable hanging out while his foster mom is at work.

  10. is becoming more affectionate as he decompresses. Hes super sweet but is not really a cuddle bug. 
    This dog is beyond unique and after continuing his basic training he is going to be an  unbelievable dog!! Typical of his breed, he can also be a bit mouthy, so no young children please as he begins to learn his manners  He just got neutered and received all of his shots.
