**We are a foster-based rescue with no shelter or facility to view our dogs, and our address is a mailing address only. Please be patient as we are an all-volunteer rescue and our rescue dogs are in various loving foster homes throughout West-Central Florida. As a general rule we try to limit our adoptions to within the state of FL. If interested in one of our dogs, please fill out a foster or adoption application at www.4luckydogs.org, and we will contact you by phone/text if we feel your application is the best fit out of the ones received.**

Zena still has a lot of puppy in her at 3+ yrs old, and loves affection and all the attention. We are looking for Zena's forever home, and her adoption will be finalized upon her spay date which is scheduled for 2 Sep 2021. Zena came to us as a breeder release and our vet has verified she is between 3-4 yrs old. This gorgeous 70-lb girl is not afraid of strangers, not a big barker and is the first to greet any friends that may come to the door at the door.  She is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. She is definitely a lap dog if you let her, and she loves her belly rubs!! When she wants your attention, she will follow you around nudging your hand with her nose until you stop to pet her.  She also l oves playing with other dogs, and although she demonstrated some initial resource guarding of her person the first couple nights, after a few corrections, we have not seen it since . She is currently living with 4 other adult Berners and an adult Lab, and has settled right into the pack and seems to know her place. She has a thinner Berner coat that's much easier to maintain here in FL. She has a little storm anxiety with lightning and thunder and only wants to be close to you. We are unsure of cats and no young children please! *   ***The adoption fee for this dog is $400.00 and he/she will come microchipped, neutered/spayed, up to date on all necessary vaccines/rabies,  heartworm tested and dewormed .
