Mavvy is an 8 month old male puppy who needs a forever home to romp and play! He is an owner surrender, who was originally adopted from the shelter after being found on the side of the road with his siblings. The shelter believes he might be a Bernese Mountain Dog mix, but we cannot say for certain. He currently weighs between 50-55lbs and the shelter believes he could get up to 100lbs. So he will be a large baby!
He is a total sweetheart and will curl up next to you while chewing on a toy.
He needs an active home with a fenced yard as he still has lots of puppy energy, maybe your new running partner or agility???
He previously lived with two cats and although he didn't harm them, he did chase them. Due to Mavvy's size potential, older children are required. Mavvy needs to continue basic manner training or he just may snatch that sandwich off your counter. He is a smart dog and learns quickly but needs consistency and structure, as any puppy does. Mavvy is housebroken but would still need to be watched initially in a new environment and learns where to go. He is also dog selective, so if there is another dog in the home, its preferred they are young and active and on the submissive side.
Mavvy is already neutered and vetted, and ready to find his forever home!.
