**We are a foster-based rescue with no shelter or facility to view our dogs, and our address is a mailing address only. Please be patient as we are an all-volunteer rescue and our rescue dogs are in various loving foster homes throughout West-Central Florida. As a general rule we try to limit our adoptions to within the state of FL. If interested in one of our dogs, please fill out a foster or adopt application at www.4luckydogs.org, and we will contact you by phone/text if your application is the best fit out of the ones received.** Luna (12.5 lbs) was rescued from a situation along with her 6-month old son whom she was guarding from other dogs. She is still a bit in "Mommy" mode, a little scared and insecure and vocal, but has now just been spayed. She has come a long way in a few weeks, and will quiet down more quickly now, will sleep on the couch comfortably by herself, and she loves belly rubs and cuddling. She is a bit of a resource guarder at this point with her chewbone (so no young children please!!), but believe that this will gradually subside as she feels more comfortable. Luna currently uses her crate to eat, sleep, enjoy her chewbone, and also when noone is home. Luna is starting to let herself enjoy life as a 2 year old dog without having to make any more puppies. She is going to be a great pet for the lucky person/family who will bring out her inherently loving personality!!  **The adoption fee for this dog is $400.00 and he/she will come microchipped, neutered/spayed, up to date on all necessary vaccines/rabies,  heartworm tested and dewormed .
