Alright Lucky Dogs fam! We are ready to start accepting applications for Shogun, our 1 year old male bernese. Please read description in its entirety before submitting applications for foster to adopt home.
These are requirements for his safety and success in a new home. Please do NOT apply if you do not meet this criteria.
•6 ft (or taller) privacy fence, he is able to climb a chain link, so vinyl or wood fence required!
•no children or busy households, Shogun needs time to decompress as he is very stressed and skittish right now. These dogs typically turn around with lots of love and time.
•someone home most of the day to help him acclimate to his new surroundings and provide training on how to be a part of a family meaning he will live INSIDE the home.
•understand that bernese do not have long life spans, Shogun is still a pup at a year old and still has the potential to live another 10 years. He needs someone that will keep him the rest of his life.
•elderly in the home are not recommended as he is very scared and can easily knock someone over, hes not aggressive, just hasn’t had the training.
•no male dogs in the home. Females will need an introduction.
•we do not ship dogs or adopt outside the state of Florida.
