Please welcome 3-yr old Cesar to 4 Lucky Dogs. 

Cesar lost his elderly Mom 8 weeks ago and his elderly Dad was recently hospitalized and will now have to sell his house. He will be moving in with family who will take care of him, and there is no room for Cesar. 

In the three years that Cesar lived with his Mom and Dad, you can tell he was very, very loved. However, he was over fed…a lot….a whole lot. 
At only 3 yrs old, Cesar weighed in at a whopping 107.6 lbs. and his medical records state that in September he was actually 112.5 pounds. So we have a medical journey we are going to undertake with this beautiful boy. With that being said, Cesar is the most obedient, gentle, lovable and active dog who thinks he’s a small lap dog. His demeanor is much more like an old soul golden retriever than your typical Aussie. 

Although Ceser has the most amazing emergency foster (thank you June Kraff!!), he is a lot larger than what was anticipated, so we would like to find his forever home who can help him go through this journey with his weight-loss and get him to a healthy size. 

Everyone who has met this boy is amazed at him!! He is also a dream to walk on a leash. This is a once in a lifetime dog who is all about his people. He has not been around small children so we don’t want to add to his anxiety and put him in that environment. Cesar did live with another small dog but will be great as an only dog!! He has soooo much love to give. 

Right now he is still looking for his mom and dad and we are committed to finding the most amazing family for him. To say this is a special dog, somehow doesn’t seem quite enough.
