Bennie and the Pets is Available for Adoption!! Please welcome the one, the only, Bennie Boy, to the 4LD stage!  Bennie is a 1 year old (ish) Beagle/Dachshund mix that was found as a stray by a rescue friend.  Don’t let pictures fool you, he is just a little guy at only 14 pounds!  We don’t expect him to get much bigger either. 

Like his namesake, if you ask him nicely, he will sing to you and show you his beautiful beagle voice. Bennie was an instant hit with his foster family.  He is very dog friendly and loves to play with a good squeaky toy.  He is very food motivated, which will make training easier, and shares his toys and food very well with his foster fur-siblings.  While a home with another dog is not required, Bennie seems to enjoy having a canine companion.  

Bennie is respectful and not destructive in his crate, but he would prefer someone that works from home as he just LOVES his people. We do not know Bennie’s full history, so we will not be adopting him to a home with young children.

Bennie will be neutered tomorrow 4/3 so we are now accepting applications for when he is fully recovered!
