Maya is a beautiful Black Mouth Cur/Shepard mix. She was found on the streets in Seminole, Fl. in November. She is approx 1year 2 months old and weighs 54lbs. Maya's adoption fee is $150 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccinations. She is crate trained and housebroken. She has some basic training, she knows "sit", "down", "come" and is learning "leave it". She is a quick learner, but can be a bit stubborn at times. Maya loves attention and loves to curl up with her human after a fun day at the dog park. She is affectionate and a loyal companion. She loves playing fetch and playing with other bigger dogs. She is good with all adults and kids, but not good with smaller dogs and cats. Black Mouth Curs were bred to herd and hunt, so they may have high prey drives. Working breeds need a job.  Black Mouth Curs can be protective, loyal, kind, fearless, active, trainable and extremely smart. They are loving, gentle family dogs as long as they are provided the mental and physical stimulation they need.
