Meet Jake, "Lucky Dog" #32. This 7-month-old Dachshund/Pomeranian mix is a playful pup that needs a forever home. He is a sweet and affectionate boy that loves to be petted and cuddled. He is a smart, goofy boy that is eager to please. Jake is a small 15 pound boy who would make a perfect lap pet. He would be great for a moderately active family that will take him for walks and play his favorite game fetch with him. Jake does well with kids and other dogs, but will playfully chase cats. He is crate trained and almost completely housebroken. He can be a shy boy with new people and may bark at you at first meeting. It seems that he prefers women because he warms up to them quicker than to men, but once he get to know and trust you he will show you how sweet he is. Jake is currently being fostered in Valrico, Fl. He is current on all vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick preventative.
