Introducing Lola Puggle (LP): 18 Pounds of Sass, Zoomies, and Snuggles

Fostered by our longtime friend and rescue rockstar Christine DeJesus, LP is a 3-year-old Pug/Beagle mix who’s packed to the brim with personality, playfulness, and puppy energy.

This girl is all about the action — tug-of-war champ, fetch enthusiast, couch gymnast, and full-time window patrol. She’s looking for an active family that gets her vibe: playful, energetic, and ready to go when she is (even if it’s spontaneous play o’clock). She LOVES toys, takes treats like a true lady, and knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and “let’s go outside!”

Lola is dog-friendly and really wants a playful companion — she’s got two tiny senior Yorkie foster bros who aren’t into her antics, but that hasn’t stopped her from trying! She also walks beautifully on leash and lives for yard time (she didn’t have one before, so watching her zoom is pure joy). Just keep an eye out — this girl is fast and can dart out a door if you’re not quick!

Great in the car
Sleeps through the night on her own dog bed (but would love the people bed if invited)
Kennel trained, but she’s a girl who likes freedom
Has a signature “happy dance” where she twirls on her back legs
May try to sneak a sip from the toilet if you forget to close the lid (don’t say we didn’t warn you)

She had a rough start — kept crated most of the day in her previous life — so she’s making up for lost time with every zoom, spin, and snuggle. She’s had zero accidents since her first anxious day, and she’s blossomed into a sweet, joyful pup with so much love to give.

LP is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready to leap into her forever home.
